Champion
Recognizes an organization or individual taking purposeful action in the Midwest to ensure all communities can benefit from energy efficiency.
Education
Recognizes initiatives or strategies that increase knowledge of and action on energy efficiency among policymakers, stakeholders, or target audiences in the Midwest.
Marketing campaigns should apply in the Marketing category.
Impact
Recognizes projects, programs, or strategies with significant, measurable impact on energy consumption, health, emissions, energy burden, or other societal outcomes in the Midwest.
Quantifiable results and evaluation details are important.
Innovation
Recognizes a successful new and innovative program, campaign, or strategy, or a program implemented in a new and innovative way in the Midwest.
Bringing an existing program to the Midwest is not considered innovative on its own.
Leadership
Recognizes an organization or individual serving as a strong leader in support of energy efficiency in their Midwestern city, state, region, company, or community.
Marketing
Recognizes successful marketing campaigns that increase participation in energy efficiency programs, expand adoption, or influence behaviors in the Midwest.
Educational efforts should apply in the Education category.
